Plainfield, Indiana, a small town just a few miles southwest from Indianapolis, is not really known as a major hub of shopping. The main reason people come to Plainfield is for its proximity to the Indianapolis International Airport and easy access to the Circle City. Visitors stay in Plainfield hotels and then set out for all the major Indianapolis shopping malls for most of their needs. The town is fairly close to downtown Indianapolis, so visitors can take advantage of all the benefits of the city.
